Excel/Wordファイルを開くときに空のExcel/Wordファイルの同時に開く場合の対処法

日本語の記事が見つけられなかったので、こちらで紹介します。

まま抜粋して和訳しておきますのでお困りの方はこの通りやってみてください。
上記リンク先ではOffice2007の紹介ですが、Office2010でも同様の手順で解決できました。

1.     スタートボタン＞コントロールパネル＞フォルダーオプション
2.   表示タブ＞リストの中から「隠しファイルを表示する」を選択してすべてのフォルダに適用する

3. 次のフォルダにアクセスして該当のファイルを削除（不安があればリネームする。バックアップするか自己責任で！）:

Office2010の場合はOffice12をOffice14に置き換えてアクセスします。
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\STARTUP
(For a 64 bit machine, the location will be C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\STARTUP)

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART
(For a 64 bit machine, the location will be C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\ XLSTART)

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

(Note: the username gets replaced with your computer account username)

If the issue gets resolved, follow Step 1 then for Step 2 select Don’t show hidden files and folders, or drives.
